Redesign Refresh

Something we put out a form for a good while back and... kept forgetting about. Oops! Regardless, by great positive reception, a new game is available to play in our Discord server based on our feedback on how it should run! Information about it can be found in the respective channel in the Discord server. Have fun!

This game involves using old designs from the Pound! If you do not want your design to used, you may fill in the list here, or ask in Discord. The current opt-out list is not public, so feel free to dm me (@sodabeaches) if you need a reminder for if you're on it or not. There will be a few days before claims open to all rather than just the original designers.

Emoji Contest

We will be holding a Discord-exclusive event this month, an emoji contest for our Discord server!! There's some pretty neat prizes in the running, so feel free to check it out if you're interested! The contest is at the very top of the channels list.

Misc.

• Pound designs now allow for one rare trait to be added to them.
  • Anything made before this update cannot be refunded, apologies! Anything applicable still in queue has been sent back.
• Toyhouse profiles for pound design claims are being moved exclusively on-site via claims. Please do not ask in the Discord server anymore!
• The default/Sudsy theme has been redone.
• Most missing pet collections have now been added to the site!
• The troubleshooting page has been updated. Please check it out if you haven't already!
• A new site theme can be selected for free in your settings! It'll remain available for free for the next three months, then switch over to next season's theme! I'm not quite sure how I'll handle having users obtain seasonal themes while out of season, but it is planned to be an option.

• Autumn stock is now available!
• Jelly Body has been split into two traits, Jelly Body and Soaked Body. The trait previously covered a large amount of very different stylizations, so it's been split like this:

    Jelly Body is a firm, jelly-like body. It has a translucent or shiny effect
  • 
    Soaked Body is for any sort of drippiness, it can be shiny or not.
  • If you are still confused, all characters have been retraited appropriately, so you can look at examples on the masterlist!
    • You may need to hard refresh to see the new jelly body visual on the trait guide.
• Unusual transformation has been split into Unshaped and Shape transfromation.
  • Unshaped transformation is for less defined shapes, such as blob-creatures.
  • Shape transformation is for more geometric shapes.

Rule clarifications

This is something we had previously not taken stance on, but we have decided to write a rule to clarify how we will handle this in the future!

• Individual designer terms regarding breedings, redesigns, and redraws will be not be enforced for characters added to the masterlist.

Of course, our species rules about design theft and copying are still in place, however individual permissions disallowing or restricting the above things will not be enforced by us. Users may request their personal terms on these be abided by, but they may not go out of their way to enforce them.

We have updated our CBC rules to clarify what is appropriate for the species.

• Violence and profanity are generally not judged
• Media with heavily sexual, mature, or offensive themes are not allowed
• Media centric around very heavy or potentially triggering topics are not allowed
• As a general rule, keep everything appropriate for our PG-13 audience.
  • The age rating on media doesn't affect if it's allowed or not, we determine based on the things listed above! (e.g. shows/movies targeted towards adults but are not too extreme for younger audiences are fine)

Just use your best judgment! If you wouldn't show it to a young teen, it's likely not appropriate for the species. Other CBC rules still apply, this is just an expansion on one of them.

• Our Autumn advent calendar will go up for preview with some raffle to pay slots! FCFS slots will be going up for sale the day after, on the 5th.
